Lot's fun running around Grant Park under the moon last night. Great Job by my newbies Salem, Warren, Amy and Tamara. Hope you enjoyed your First Tour of Grant Park. bwaa
You all are not going to believe me, but I speak the truth!!!!
I got up this morning with intentions to go to camp until my usual time of 6:45. I left my place at 6:52 as always. I was bundled up like the young boy in "The Christmas Story" ready to embrace the bitter cold temperatures and wind. I rolled up to the gate, but it wouldn't let me out!!!! I pulled up as far as I could, but it still would not open. I used my clicker, but still nothing. I even go out and went around the other side of the gate with the clicker and it did not budge. Even a few shakes of the gate did nothing. I even had to get a ride to work this morning!!! You can ask Akav 47......she knows where I'm coming from.
This is why I was not at camp this morning. I didn't even get to have the joy of sleeping in...
So I suppose that Oakhurst was missing a trainer this am as well? Or did Ben somehow find a way to get to work on time while his better half hugged the pillow til 6:45am??
I guess I get the pleasure of having you and Greg in Class today at 6:00pm? Sweet. I'm looking forward to it. Bwaa
Wow Jackie!!!! Seven, did you say Seven Minutes off your five K time. I'm honored to be associated with such a determined person. It’s that kind of success that keeps me motivated to show up and work hard. You dedication is very much appreciated.
Now if we could just get Greg and Jill to stop with the excuses and come to camp maybe they could see such impressive improvement in there fitness.
Used Excuses!!! Gate won't open, baby was sick, It was too cold, My tummy hurt, Mudd-butt, hammy was a little tight, I don't like the rain, Hangover (used by me lol) forgot to set the alarm.
Good job today everyone! Alotta Tabata is a tough one. Heard a lot about that pukey feeling, but no one blew chunks though. Newbies are doing great, hang in there and it gets easier.

A belated shout out to 6 am Jackie who cut 7 MINUTES, yes 7 MINUTES, off of her 5K time at the Chomp and Stomp 5K. You Rock Jackie!

Double true, Bwaa. We've seen some pretty lame excuses. Hope to see a nice crowd tonight.
Ha ha. LOL Jill. I'll back you up on this one. Those gates are very undependable.
Next time we do Alotta Tabata, plan ahead for the choof station. 20 secs of barfing, 10 sec of rest...
