I think this is probably the right forum to bring up something that has been on my mind since this morning. To put this simply: there need to be some "ground rules" for the Banana Cone Relay. Don't know what I'm talking about? Well, specifically, I'd like to limit the places my fellow FitWit campers can carry the banana.
Now, I wouldn't consider myself squeamish or hyper-sensetive to concerns of hygiene -- but it was my understanding that the only permissible place to carry the banana was in one's hand. Today, I observed many people carry the banana in their shirt, in their pants, or in their mouth. What was perhaps most disturbing were the teams where a pant-carrying teammate passed off the banana to a mouth-carrying teammate. Again, I'm not that squeamish but --- UGH! THAT'S JUST NASTY PEOPLE!!!
So, please keep this in mind the next time you hold the Banana Cone Relays, Josh. Thanks.
"Man" Jess
P.S. To my fellow FitWit campers who used creative ways to carry the banana: Pocket Carriers: You're all cheatin' bastards. (keep up the good work) Pant Carriers: You're all sick bastards. (a little consideration, please) Mouth Carriers: Good grief! Everthing I want to say is not printable here.
All, a few of us are getting together for some "light" workouts next week. We are meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6am:
Monday: workout inspired by Jerome. We will meet at Southside at 6am for a light recovery workout comprised of plyo, core and stretch. Mats are recommended.
Wednesday: 6am - Theme: Bryan's Body and Brain Basher. Location - Soccer field on Berne Street (1/2 mile west of death hill - aka Glenwood Pl.) Pain: Stairs and sprints. Mats are recommended.
Friday: 6am - Inspired by the JV graduating to Vet G*licious' return to Death Hill (meet at the bottom Berne St and Glenwood Pl)diabolical workout. 5 run ups with varying menagerie of push-ups, sit-ups, squats, curls and extensions at the top of the hill between each run.
Please let us know if you plan on attending. If you have any questions/comments, please don't hesitate to call/email me at 678-764-8773 / jfeuiltault@yahoo.ca.
