Team Just Jenny tallied a whopping 44 today. Add that to the 3 from 'the lisa' for a total of 47. Add that to a total of 0 for the double unders I wouldn't have gotten if present on Monday, for a grand total of 47. If my per-day scores keep increasing at that rate I'll have you all beat by the end of the week!

Becky, I thought I was team captain. I am in total confusion of the group thing this week. First Rebecca tells me I got the wrong becky and then Michelle tells me I have the wrong Michelle and now I deceived myself to think I was the captain. I need to stay out of the village more often!

whew.

At least I can relax now and look forward to joining you two for the big finale on Friday!

This post is called "The FitWit Team Score Card" or "How Jess spent his lunch hour".

For the math challenged (including myself), here is a spreadsheet to help calculate your scores. All of the times are in seconds so you'll need to do some conversion for the mile/Lisa/400 etc. So, a time of 2:35 (would be entered as 155. Let me know if this doesn't make sense.

Check out what Sports Illustrated had to say today...

FitWit’s Team Week Stops for Nothing
by Kyle Reese

On a recent Thursday morning, Josh Guerrieri takes his boot campers through a workout in the steady rain and continues his “Team Week” competition. He encourages them, telling them something they already know, “You can’t get this kind of workout in a gym.” Of the rain, Guerrieri explains, “A decathlon is an athletic event that lasts two days and is made up of ten track and field events. Each athlete gets a score based on their performance in each event, and at the end of the second day, the person with the highest overall score wins the entire event. ‘Team Week’ is a lot like a decathlon on steroids.” Of course, the decathlon doesn’t stop because of rain, and neither does Guerrieri’s boot camp.
“Today’s workout is no joke,” says Guerrieri. He points to camp standouts, Team Awesome, and adds, “These guys have brought it, today. They’re hungry.” Team Awesome, which is made up of Dawn R., Sinead, and Todd, scored 154 soggy points, placing them farther atop the leader-board.
One of the other trainers, Anggie Pope, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and no stranger to excellence herself, records the scores and can’t believe what she’s seeing. “If Team Awesome keeps producing such high numbers, I’m going to need more paper,” she says with a laugh.
Guerrieri will be leading his boot camp through another series of events tomorrow, come rain or shine. It’s the last day of “Team Week,” and there is still room for anyone to walk away with the victory.
And you really can’t get this kind of a workout in a gym.

She then added, "You know, because I may completely cr*p myself in amazement!" :-)

Team Kick Ass continues its reign of terror. Tomorrow we whip out the krav maga* on anyone who shows up to challenge us.

Today's total was 138. Added to yesterday's score of 10,089, that makes for a total of 10,227.

Did we finish winning yet? I heard that the winning team gets an apple, a banana, and a peach to split however they choose. BRING THE FRUIT!

*look it up. or don't, just click here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krav_Maga
this is what Team Kick Ass does as a workout before Boot Camp.
