Newbie here. I just wanted to shout out to say 'thanks' to all the vets who have come forward and literally taken me and the other newbies by the hand this past week to push us through these workouts. Jill, Brad, Greg, Dawn, Jackie, and so many others who have just been so supportive. Trainers too! You all have been great and have made the first 4 days of workout(a/k/a the 4 longest hours of my life ever) seem almost, well, fun.

Thank you, thank you. Keep pushing!

Donna, thanks for the "THANKS", but know that we're all happy to do it. All of us were in your shoes. As I shared with you on our runs around Grant Park and up the hill during the "Jessica" workout, I could barely finish the warm-up lap when I first started.

Worry not if veteran campers are passing you in the running or circuit exercises. You're only competing with the woman in your mirror. The first week is the hardest . . . but the rest will be very challenging, too.

In about week four, you'll feel less trepidation each morning when you show up to camp and you'll start to notice how far you have progressed. Show up each day and one of the other 49 sleepy souls will help give you the nudge you need to power through each morning.

You're doing very well--better than many of us did in our first camps!
