Dawn has been with us from the very beginning, and she gets the honor of the first camper profile. How many 40-somethings do you know that can run a 7 minute mile and keep up with campers 20 years younger?

Something cool we don’t know about you?

I am the founder of Cool Girls, Inc. a program for low income girls in Atlanta that has been in existence since 1989.

Why do you FitWit?

Let me count the ways – I have achieved more than I thought was possible and continue to be proud of myself.

I love the people and camaraderie and feel like we are really a family. FitWit is not only about the individual – it is about how we interact as a community in support of each other and those around us.

I love Mario’s singing of 1980’s songs.

Jerome looks great when he does the high kicks.

My life depends on it – I want to stay fit so that I can respect the boy God gave me and enhance the quality of my life as I age.
