January 7 - First camp day of 2008

Back to the basics today. Emphasis on proper form!

Dynamic Warm-up

Pushup/Situp/Squat instruction

Pushup/Situp/Squat(how many consecutive without resting) Assessments – 60 seconds

Circuit– AMRAP (As many rounds as possible) – 5 burpees, 10 pushups, 20 situps, 30 squats, run football field and back

God Bless you Josh for starting out with a slow introduction to the basics.

Unlike the Super Vets who ran 4 to 8 miles every day for breakfast and then worked out after lunch and again before dinner EVERY day during the "break", I sat on my big ass and ate lots of food and tried to imitate still life sculptures on my couch.

As EASY as it was today, it was still hard for this JV-Super-Vet-Wannabe. Will pay for it tonight I'm sure when I try to . . . you know, breath or something.

Even with the pain and the could-have-been-worse cold, it was damn good to see everyone this dark and early morning.

I did miss my early morning workout peeps!
