What, no witty Haiku’s from Greg "Missing in Action Forever JV" A-Licious super boot camper today. Oh, that’s right Greg must have been infected with selective amnesia and forgot that were on five day work week. Must be all that good eating and vacation from last week catching up with him. Or maybe one of the following excuses be tossed out?
1.) “The old reliable” Um, my baby boy was sick and I had to be up with him all night.
2.) I was listening to my body. That super vet “Name Game” was really tough and I need the day off to heal.
3.) Was up all night writing Haiku’s for the party and lost track of time. When I awoke this morning the gate to my driveway was inoperable I had no way to get my car out. Thus, I had to decide should I catch a ride with my neighbor Jessica or b-dog, Jog over, take Marta or just go back to bed? Since I was already late and the gate still not working I decided to just run to work, doing jumping jacks, pushups & squats along the way. People at my office were amazed that I was in at 7:00am wearing what they described as a “superman esque” outfit. Hopefully I’ll have the gate fully operational by morning.

Bryan...you just made my morning - that was truly hilarious!!!

Next time I read Bryan's posts, please remind me to shut my office door. I had to explain to people that I was laughing out loud over something "work related"!

Haiku retort:

Guilty as charged
Only excuse--was sleepy
Will make up at six!

Ouch! Brilliant post, Bryan. It must be "Take No Prisoners" week at FitWit!

Also, I might as well take this time to fend off a few missiles I expect to be fired my way. Next week I won't be at FitWit Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. I have a class which runs through the evening hours to 10:00pm. Although it technically doesn't coincide with the 6:00am workout, it does interfere with Michelle's 6:00pm session. So, in a brilliant move of conciliation on my part, I have offered up my morning spot to Michelle in order to maintain the balance of the universe in our household. :-)

Let the flaming begin!

Jess - even though you're in a class, can you still find time to post your hilarious pictures? 'Preciate ya!

Jess, that’s why you have a successful marriage, you know when to make the sacrifice and take care of the little lady.
With Jess making the pre-emptive save for missing next week I will also admit that I will be missing next Monday and possibly Tuesday (depending on when delta gets me home) I do plan on making the 6:00pm on Tuesday. My excuse isn’t nearly of selfless as Jess just a little R & R in New York. The torture of Dry Heat and the stench of cafeteria food will have to wait for at least one day.

Tina, time might be a bit limited but I'll see what I can do.

And, to be completely honest, I asked my daughter to draw a picture of Greg this morning. Here is what she came up with:
