...after spending 4 days in mexico [where it was sunny and warm :-)], i thought i would take a stab at writing a haiku to shame all you goats that decided not to show up this morning...the 10 or so of us that were there had a "grant" 'ol time:
Lluvia bendita campos agradecidos menos sequía
Por la mañana claros entre las nubes y algunos charcos
pocos campistas vino esta mañana todo ganado
viaje el parque divertido y dura nadie fundido
mas vergüenza en usted para dormir hasta tarde hoy
PS #1: excuse the poor spanish, but it has been a very very long time since i was exposed to the language!!!
PS #2: for those of you who don't know spanish, it basically says that you're all a bunch of wimps!!!
I don't know Spanish, but I'm with Brother Jeromeo. The one-fifth of us who were there worked hard. I imagine this is what the morning was like for some of the others.
BRYAN
Bryan's poor excuse, "I lost power in my house, No really, I did!"
JILL
"Snore. Snore. Snore. [sleep drool]" That is all we heard from Jill Is she awake now?
JELENA
"*%$#, do I hear rain?" "*%$#, Bob, is it still raining?" "*%$# that! Back to bed"
Congrats to those brave few who were out there with us this morning:
at least i am not one of those pansy-ass pitiful people who says i will be somewhere and gets people to count on me and then just DOESN'T SHOW UP (saturdaymorningworkoutlastweeksaywhat?!).
for your clarification, i e-mailed josh last night BEFORE i went to bed to let him know i would be attending 6 p.m. class today - the hourly weather forecast rains for this morning and i made executive decision to attend the evening session instead.
Jelena, methinks you [and Ophelia] doth protest too much. But since I had my own alarm clock malfunction [read: whiny baby who didn't fall asleep] and missed the OFF-DAY workout at the park two weeks ago after saying I WOULD be there, I'll take my medicine humbly.
You BETTER be there this evening or the fitWITTY repercussions will be fierce!
What, no witty Haiku’s from Greg "Missing in Action Forever JV" A-Licious super boot camper today. Oh, that’s right Greg must have been infected with selective amnesia and forgot that were on five day work week. Must be all that good eating and vacation from last week catching up with him. Or maybe one of the following excuses be tossed out? 1.) “The old reliable” Um, my baby boy was sick and I had to be up with him all night. 2.) I was listening to my body. That super vet “Name Game” was really tough and I need the day off to heal. 3.) Was up all night writing Haiku’s for the party and lost track of time. When I awoke this morning the gate to my driveway was inoperable I had no way to get my car out. Thus, I had to decide should I catch a ride with my neighbor Jessica or b-dog, Jog over, take Marta or just go back to bed? Since I was already late and the gate still not working I decided to just run to work, doing jumping jacks, pushups & squats along the way. People at my office were amazed that I was in at 7:00am wearing what they described as a “superman esque” outfit. Hopefully I’ll have the gate fully operational by morning.

P.S. For those that want to accuse me of wasting my day on this... sorry! I didn't. I wasted my Sunday evening on it. :-)
jess, that is freaking adorable - yep, adorable - hope that's what you were going for. mario better love it.
Jess, Jeromeo and Gregalicious - you all need to take this show on the road. hilarious.
I hope 6pm is packed because this morning was very intimate!
Jess . . . outstanding!

Greg "Forever JV" A-Licious
As demented as this sounds, this was my favorite workout to date. I know, I'm a sick individual ... I need help.
You're ok, cincysundevil. The tour is my favorite too. Or maybe we both need help.
