August 7 - Tour of Grant Park

The air was thick and the muscles were sore
So we ran and we dipped and we took a tour
Around Grant Park, and up by the zoo
Some places old, some places new

The hard worked showed, and we were soaked in sweat
Everybody got busy - from newbie to vet
Drink lots of water today - beg, steal, or borrow
Get a good night's sleep and do your homework tomorrow!

The air was thick and the muscles were sore
I felt so crappy I collapsed on the floor
Around Grant Park, and up by the Zoo
I smelled rotting leaves and Elephant poo

The hard work showed, and we were soaked in sweat
People stunk like pigs - from newbie to vet
Drink lots of water today - beg, steal or borrow
Cuz your ass is Josh's the day after tomorrow!

Well done, Jess. The challenge is on! Anyone else want to put their own spin on the Tour?

The air was thick and the muscles were sore
As soon as we started, the sweat it did pour
We squatted and dipped and ran up a hill
Not sure, but it's possible we all entered hell

More squats, some push-ups and even the plank
Some of you people smell pretty rank
Still more to come, keep trying your best
But please, Isaiah, let your Daddy get some rest

The air was thick and the muscles were sore
and yessiree, i called your momma a whore
all over the damn park, and even those fucking stairs by the zoo
we sweated, we cursed, and even worked hard, too

The hard worked showed, and we were soaked in sweat
as mario flowed between innocent newbie to jaded vet
drink lots of water and curse as you hobble
damn damn damn, shit, fuck, fuck.. wobble wobble

- respectfully yours, f-bomb

Haiku, anyone?

Ahem . . .

Run! Run! Smog be damned
Heat did not wait ‘til daybreak
Squats make the rump sore

I love the work here people.

Jesse, funny you mention haiku. In the evening camp, we were talking about including a haiku as well.

Very nice!
