January 8 - The Kristie

A new "camper-named" workout today - The Kristie. Kristie has been with the 6 pm camp for a few years, and now it's her time to shine. Kristie actually told me that she preferred to have her workout consist of the following: Drive to bar and then order and consume as many drinks as possible within the 30 minute time limit. 1 drink = 1 round. Count your rounds and report them to Trevor.

Here's the real Kristie:

4 rounds –
400m run
50 Lunges (total) – hands interlocking
30 Wall Ball
20 Kettle bell swing
15 Rows (or 10 pull-ups)
10 Push-up Burpees

Ooo, it was a tough workout today! For whatever reason, I just couldn't get going; I usually love the runs separated by stations! Oh well, better tomorrow and next time!

It was great to see everyone working very hard today to reach a third and fourth round of "The Kristie" That is what it's going to take...DETERMINATION! Great work. And it's been a good start to our first week.

Hello everybody! This is my first blog ever. First of all, I would like to thank everybody for the warm welcoming into the FitWit TM familia and for the Christmas "bonus"!

With two weeks under our proverbial belt and most likely some more breathing room (frickin holidays), I wish to remind my fellow FitWit's TM of what the pound for pound champ Manny Pacquiao says about his training camp. "If you train hard, the fight's easy." I know we consider ourselves more so lovers and not fighters; however, life at times can be viewed as a battle and it's important not to forget that through training our bodies are better equipped with a number of beneficial physiological and psychological adaptations that give us an edge in our day to day activities.

Keep on keeping on FitWits TM, It's been inspiring to be a FitWitness!
